Post Disaster - Emergency Management and Criminal Control Workshop
Date: Tuesday, July 26 & Wednesday, July 27, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Location: CICE 113 A&B
The workshop provides a learning platform that incorporates academic findings with SETX law enforcement practices, emergency management and SETX public officials for post-disaster and emergency management. The training event is made available to the local community stakeholders.

New 鈥淚nternet of Things鈥 Wireless Network
On July 18, 2022, I.T. Network Services will be deploying a new wireless network named “LUnet-IOT.” The purpose of this new wi-fi network will be to support non-standard devices that are being used for research and teaching purposes that do not support our standard campus security standards. Access to this network is available via request only. You may request access by using this request form or contacting the 海角社区 Service Desk at 409-880-2222 or servicedesk@lamar.edu. COVID-19 Vaccines Available
Free COVID-19 vaccines (Moderna and Pfizer) are available at the Student Health Center to all 海角社区/LIT students, faculty and staff. You must register for an appointment.
The Student Health Center is also offering COVID-19 booster vaccines for eligible students, faculty and staff for LU and LIT campuses. Eligibility criteria can be found on the Please fill out the registration form for an appointment.
