Be the Match

Be the Match donation registry will be on campus at a table in the Setzer Student Center Feb. 15 and Feb. 16 from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. to educate students on bone marrow donation, and sign up interested students for the national bone marrow registry.

Money Management Program is hosting an in-person workshop along with Ashlynn Lalonde from Mobiloil Credit Union. Build A Basic Budget : College students must budget for textbooks, housing, and a social life. We’ll help you plan for these expenses and keep spending in check.

Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events

The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend strategy developed by ALERRT in 2004, provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event.

The Heidi Chronicles

National Stuttering Association Beaumont/LU Chapter Meeting

If you stutter, you're not alone! It’s estimated that 1% of adults stutter which equals 160 LU faculty, students and staff sharing the common experience of stuttering. Come join us either in person or via Zoom. The NSA plays a vital role in bringing people who stutter together.

LU Mail Center closed on Presidents Day
The LU campus Post Office sales window will be closed in observance of Presidents Day Feb. 20. No metered mail, personal stamped mail or packages would go out that day. The package distribution window will remain open for pickup of departmental and student packages.

The Ann Shaw Award recognizes a junior or senior student who makes significant contributions to the LU community through teamwork, leadership, ethics and integrity. Students may apply or be nominated by a student, faculty or staff. The winner receives $1,000 and special LU recognition.
