December Newsletter - From the Provost

Good morning all,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break.

Here are a few reminders and items of note as we move towards the Christmas break and into 2025.

The commencement ceremony for the Colleges of Arts & Sciences and Fine Arts & Communication will take place December 12th at 2:00 pm at the Neches Federal Credit Union Arena at the Montagne Center.

The commencement ceremony for the Colleges of Business and Engineering will take place December 13th at 2:00 pm at the Neches Federal Credit Union Arena at the Montagne Center.

The commencement ceremony for the College of Education and Human Development will take place December 13th at 5:00 pm at the Neches Federal Credit Union Arena at the Montagne Center.

Grades are due December 16th by noon.

Winter Break is December 23 - January 3.

Johnny O'Connor has accepted the Interim Dean position with the College of Education and Human Development.

Jill Killough has accepted the Interim Associate Dean position with the College of Education and Human Development.

Boomtown Square BBQ is now open Tuesday through Friday. Located at ��'s Spindletop Boomtown Museum.
Also, open Saturday for lunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
And...there will be a lighting ceremony this Thursday, December 5th at 5:00 pm.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at some of these events, but if our paths don't cross, have a wonderful holiday season!!
