Approval of Minutes: Ashwini moved the minutes of the May 2, 2022 be approved, Jimmy seconded the motion. Sujing abstained. The minutes were approved.
Curriculum Reviewed:
Bachelor of Science in Biology Education
Ashwini will verify pre-reqs with Randall Terry. Hours are reduced to 120. Free electives on degree plan go into the Teaching Cert area. Change ‘American History’ core curriuclum to ‘History’.
Motion to approve was made by Sujing, seconded by Jimmy. The motion passed.
Data Analytics Certificate Changes
Include a pedagogical reason for change; not just financial aid. This has been mentioned by Provost Brown in the past. Add content about BUAL 3330.
Motion to send back to department was made by Garrick, seconded by Jimmy. The motion passed.
College of Business Minimum Grade Requirement for Transfer Student
Grade of “D” is now accepted for transfer students by change of state rule. Last year UUCC approved the request for Accounting to change minimum grade from “C” to “D”.
Motion to approve was made by Adam, seconded by Connie. One abstain from an unknown member. The motion passed.
BULW 3350 Course Addition
Was a Special Topic course in the past. Number change to replace BULW 4390.
Motion to approve was made by Sujing, seconded by Ricardo. The motion passed.
BUAL 3330 Course Change
Changing course description to have no pre-reqs. Are max repeat hours 0? To assist UUCC when sending Course Adds & Changes, please attach cover page and syllabus in the same document.
Motion to return to department was made by Jimmy, seconded by Adam. The motion passed.
FINC 3330 Course Change
Change Max Repeat Hours to 0. Change syllabus to Concourse format. 12 Course Learning Outcomes; average number is 3-5. Motion to approve pending Concourse format syllabus was made by Sujing, seconded by Adam. The motion passed.
NHHS Degree Plan Changes
All degree plan changes are in one document; take too much time to look at them in this meeting. Change program to Nutrition and Community Wellness, Family Studies. Changes being made for Accreditations. Multiple Course Changes and Deletions. Discontinue BS in Fashion.
Motion to table until next meeting was made by Adam, seconded by Jimmy. The motion passed.
EACH 4303 Course Deletion
Motion to approve was made by Adam, seconded by Jimmy. The motion passed.
PEDG 2331 Course Deletion
Motion to approve was made by Adam, seconded by Jimmy. The motion passed.
Remainder of Education Course Deletions (PEDG 4306, READ 3393, EACH 4305, READ 3390)
EACH 4305-Change max repeat hrs, add grading scale for receiving letter grades. Aida will add signature sheet. READ 3390- add grading scale for receiving letter grades, need ISBN in syllabus.

BS in Interdisciplinary Studies Degree Plan Change
Need to include all degree plan subject areas, not just EC-6.
Motion to approve pending changes was made by Jimmy, seconded by Ashwini. The motion passed.
