Chasisty is the Senior Program Manager for Nurturing Resilience Initiative at UTHealth, McGovern Medical School. She oversees attachment-based parenting and social-emotional learning programs for clinicians, postdocs, and fellows in the Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Department. Additionally, she has been an adjunct Speech Communication instructor at Lonestar Community College for 10 years, teaching both online and in-person courses.
Chasisty is also pursuing a PhD in Higher Education Leadership at Texas Woman’s University focusing on experiential learning. She is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., where she enjoys contributing to her local community.
