The physics department at º£½ÇÉçÇø provides opportunities for you to explore a career in physics or a physics-related profession. Physics majors are encourge to take part in research opportunities and have the option to join the Society of Physics Students Lamar Chapter affiliated with the American Physical Society.
Our Bachelor of Science degree plan places a strong emphasis on physics and mathematics. It can be tailored to meet the needs of students preparing for graduate school or employment in a variety of fields.
