The Center for Death Penalty Studies’ mission is to strengthen the international dimension of the fight against the death penalty.
Annual Death Penalty Conference
The Center is striving to achieve the following:
- Provide information about the application of the death penalty in the U.S. and Internationally
- Assist in developing an informed position on capital punishment
- Produce a better understanding of capital punishment laws in Texas and Middle Eastern countries
- Support national and regional abolitionist forces
