Lamar Introduction to Engineering (L.I.T.E.)
Rising 6th graders are invited for a week-long day camp where they will participate in hands-on activities and lessons intended to introduce them to the concepts of engineering and the various disciplines of the field. Campers will work with faculty members and LU engineering students, as well as guest engineers from local industry, throughout the week.

Time: 9am-4pm
Fee: L.I.T.E. Camp is offered at no cost to campers thanks to industry sponsorship
Application requires a copy of a recent report card and the teacher evaluation document available on this page. Please have those documents ready to upload before applying.
Please email bsmith67@lamar.edu to be added to the waitlist with your student's name, date of birth, and grade level they are entering in 2024-2025.
